Being a National Defence employee, the mood here at HQ is really somber today. Military personnel are in shock that one of their own has reportedly gone on a crime-spree. Hits close to home as this all takes place in Eastern Ontario and while the Colonel worked in Trenton (2 hrs. away), he lived here in Ottawa.

Wow, that's just terrible. RIP to those poor women.

My condolences. We've suffered quite a few such things with our military over the years.

Sometimes life overtakes the movies. And soldiers aren't any more normal than anybody else. :-\

I'm gobsmacked ......
That's bad.....right?

"You can't handle the truth!"
Damn. Neither can I. That's horrible.
Unfortunately, this is the sort of thing that some warped moviemakers will wanna make a film about.

Let's hope not.
The latest on this - local authorities in the various communities accross Canada where the Colonel had been posted are now looking at all their old "Cold Case" files to determine if this has been an on-going pattern. I sincerely hope that's not the case.

Sad as it is , you can pretty much guarantee there will be a movie.
