Tell us about your basses, Tyrrell!
Oh, there’s nothing much to tell unfortunately.
I somehow lost the interest in bass stuff a few years ago, in a weak moment I actually got rid of a couple of basses which I ‘am regretting today. (e.g Rickenbacker 4001 and a Gibson EB3). The good news is that I kept my Gibson Triumph and Gibson RD Artist.
So after the bass have been lying on the shelf for some years my friend and I have decided to gather a band again and hopefully keep it going.
As you might understand I can’t start playing again without a proper bass.
I have started to collect parts for my much wanted Fenderbird. I have been dreaming of a Fenderbird since I first saw the one hanging at Hard Rock Café in London about 10 years ago. A picture of it has been hanging in my living room since then. Hopefully this project will be ready within this year.
A NR Thunderbird is also on my wish-list and of course a EB3.
I also have a beaten up hollowed body Italian bass lying somewhere that I would love to see come alive again.
