Can anyone offer opinions on an MB5 or an HMT...?

Both the ones I'm watching are fretless, but don't know anything about them...

Just saw a fretted one on the bay for $195 BIN free ship, looks like a friend of mine's Squier Affinity, his is a four.  Not a bad playing bass, I was able to get the neck dead flat, sound is OK.  Discontinued, looks like they cost around $240 USD street new.  Can't find a fretless.

The UK MB5 rolled over at £206

There is a damaged one going for $185 in Texas - sounds overpriced for that condition I presume...

The HMT in the UK is pricey...?

The Texas one is the one I saw, 195 here delivered.  The other on is a Made in the US, haven't seen one of those...L320 seems high.  Why not just defret something?

I've got 2 Fiver necks I'd part with, a new Allparts and a used Yamaha 2 octave.

Presently working on just that but just curious - watching some cheap (ish) parts for other projects too...
