It's just wonderful. I don't know if it's $600+shipping wonderful, but in the pics it looks lovely.

The guy who bought the same bass twice — first in 1977 and again in 2023

If I were in the market for one of those that would be the one to buy! If I needed it for my collection I'd pay $605 for it.

I like sparkly objects.  The side view is very nice.

But I already have a (far distant) cousin in my stable...the Squier Mikey Way bass, which is a pretty darn good player.

I don't recall that model at all ???. When I was a young tadpole, I had a real jones for the Eko violin bass. I later learned it was a real piece of crap, but it sure looked cool and that's what counted more than anything.

My only experience with Eko was my first Vox Phantom IV.  Era un pezzo di merda.  Can't imagine this one is any better, though it does look pretty cool!

Most of their stuff was pretty cheapo in both price and quality, but a good friend of mine has a mid 60s /maybe early 60s acoustic guitar from them that is pretty nice. It's a thin body single cutaway arch top with a very slim and playable neck. The neck is on par with something like a Gibson 335, which was absolutely unheard of on an acoustic instrument of that era. Being a thin body, it lacks projection, but it sounds good and I would stack that neck against anything being produced today.

The several EKOs I've played have been dead sounding, both the hollow and solid ones. Not sure why.
