I saw three of the survivors opening up for Herr Halford and his men yesteday. Ricky Warwick does the Lynott impressions well, but minus the black cat smoothness Lynott had in his voice. And they still do more thirds than should be reasonably allowed these days except at Wishbone Ash concerts of course! Oh yeah, and they now have a rhythm guitar even when the other two solo as Ricky plays rhythm guitar throughout. Of course, Lynott's lyrics are so idiosyncratic and personal, anybody else singing them will always be reduced to being a tribute.
The grandma, who of the band is she related with?

When the host asked "shouldn't there be a band for senior citizens," I was thinking how many classic bands there really ARE now still playing who would qualify.

f you ever needed another reason to love dear Phil Lynott then just watch this short clip from Jim’ll Fix It - Jimmy Savile’s classic dreams-come-true TV series - from 1982, in which 70-year-old grandmother, May Booker wrote to Sir Jim asking if he could fix it for her to play keyboards with her favorite band - Thin Lizzy. And you can guess what happened next.
May is rather good, and she has a fun time with Phil - who is such a delightful charmer.

I was listening to the original version of Hollywood by Thin Lizzy and there is no keyboards in the song. So I guess they wrote a special arrangement for this old lady?
If so that was pretty cool of them. I can't think of many bands that would do that for a stranger.

The original does have keyboards! Admittedly quite far away in the mix, but they're absolutely there.
At the Renegade album (where Hollywood was taken from) Darren Wharton was a full member of Thin Lizzy.
He was already featured on the previous Thin Lizzy album Chinatown. But at that time he wasn't a full member yet.
However the song Hollywood did not feature a keyboard solo. Maybe that is what you meant?

Thin Lizzy had a somewhat erratic policy of including members in the artwork.
The Jailbreak sleeve had two different versions: one with four characaters (the bandmembers) running in the tv screen frame. And one with only three.

The original Vertigo vinyl (9102 008) had a die-cut gatefold sleeve and when opened the whole band is visible. I recall reading that the record company wanted Jim Fizpatrick to make the band picture bigger and because of this one member went out of sight. The later pressings without the die-cut gatefold have had alternately 3 or four members visible. The first CD on Vertigo had three, the remaster on Mercury had four and the latest deluxe double has again three.
And the front sleeve of Bad Reputation did not feature Brian Robertson although he had just rejoined the band when the album was released.
On the back of the sleeve they did include him in the picture.
He is also featured in the inner sleeve photos. I believe that front cover was Lynott's way of getting Brian back in line. He plays only on 3 songs on that album.
