Three Blue Boy Rickenbackers!

But only one of them is mine...

What is better than three Blue Boy Rickenbackers?

This is what happens when Peter Boer pays you a visit.

Bill's Shop: Projects, Mods & Repairs / Humbucking Squier P
« on: August 05, 2010, 02:07:10 PM »
I just finished my new Squier P. Peter sold me the body and the pickup, I already had two necks and some other parts.

New pickguard made from plexiglass.

The routing for the pickup had to be enlarged very carefully...

I used the blue wires to see if I put the pickup in the right place.

The pickup is mounted on the body instead of on the pickguard. This way you don't see the four screws holding it in place.

The Outpost Cafe / New here
« on: December 06, 2009, 02:29:57 PM »
My name is Sven and I'm new here. Chris, Rob, Saf and Peter know me from the Dutch bassforum. I've been playing bass since '92 and have been in bands since '96. My first bass was a Fenix P copy that I still have. I've strung it with flats now and it's mainly used for recording. Nowadays I have nice collection of basses and guitars:
-Rickenbacker '94 4003 Fireglo
-Rickenbacker '05 4003 BlueBoy (Chris drooled when he played it)
-Squier '83 JV Precision
-Squier Telebass refinished in Vintage Guacamole
-Epiphone Rivoli
-MightyMite Precision with Rio Grande pu
-Richwood fretless bass
-'70s Japanese Jazz copy
-Eko acoustic bass guitar
-Mayhill acoustic bass guitar
-my homemade bass

And some guitars including an Epi LesPaul, 335Dot, a cool strat, some acoustics and two guitars I made.

Amps are a Ampeg V-4, SVT350H, SVT410, SVT15, Hughes&Kettner 2.10 cab, an old Dano bass amp with a cab I made myself and a Marshall JTM30 for guitar.

My homemade bass. It has a Peavey neck and two Bartolini pu's. It weighs just a little less then my Ampeg V-4.

My frankensteined Strat.

My homemade guitar.

My Jazz, isn't it sweet?

Squier Telebass in Vintage Guacamole. The color is a little different than on this pic, cause I'm very good at making bad photos.

Me!
