Price of this one looks high to me, IIRC the one I played was well below that.

Post by: hieronymous on November 16, 2009, 12:16:08 AM: Yeah, I have to admit I got taken in by the looks - I didn't really think about the sound. Thanks for the corrective. (I have a fretless Rickenbacker on my mind, so I never even considered this Univox for myself...)

I've never seen one in person, but I've been lusting for one for a while. Here's the one I'm interested in:

It bears a striking resemblance to my fretted '76:
