Good deal on 70's P bass grey bottoms

$199 BIN for a '78 pickup and the wiring harness. Grey bottoms are my favorite pickups. I'd hit the BIN if I didn't already have 2 spare pickups like this one.

No affiliation.

Fender pickups from 1966 to 1979. They replaced the pre-CBS black bottoms. They had grey bobbins that you can see at the bottom, and had a date stamp. To me, that's the immediately recognizable classic Fender sound.

What about grey bottoms that "...hold still and are of receptive nature...?"

Thank you, sir!
