This is nice. I even like the look of the pick guard

I wonder what the greasebucket circuit is...?

This is inspired by the Custom Shop (Telecaster shaped) La Cabronita Especial guitar. No idea what the sales have been, considering its $3000 street price, but it has inspired enough home builders/assemblers that some aftermarket Tele bodies are now available routed for the TV Jones pickup and narrower bridge.

The Greasebucket circuit "rolls off highs without adding additional bass for more precise control of your sound" i.e. it supposedly lets you cut highs without getting too muddy.

I kinda like it, but I think it would look better with a big-ass chrome surround to make the pickup look as big as a mudbucker.

Bet it sounds good with a Thundertron.  My Gretsch 5123 sounds great with two of them.

Interesting they're calling the pickup a 'Thunderblade' in the overview and a Thunder'Tron in the specs.  I'd prefer it with a P width neck since it supposedly has the '51 U profile.

Cabronita is slang for little bastard (or worse). Porrazo translates to thump, although I don't know if it really means thump like a bass would do.

It's supposed to be plain looking but packing a punch. Judging by the guitar's acceptance at the TDPRI, the looks are apparently part of the appeal.

MSRP is only $5,200.  :o

I wouldn't be interested at any price because of the U neck profile.

Gee, all they'd have to do is move the decimal point over to interest me.  $520 sounds decent.
