It's fortunate that Paul's father wasn't involved in helping the Beatles with the lyrics to "She Loves You."  LOL.

She loves you, yes, yes, yes.

It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

It's just that it isn't that often that you see a late night show segment which appears to actually have had some effort and planning put into it.  I especially liked the pub performance, although if it had been up to me I might have altered the song selections a bit.  On the other hand, that wasn't my call.  It's unlikely Paul McCartney will be asking me for help on his set list.

I don't watch any of the late shows since Craig Ferguson and David Letterman retired, and I like Ferguson infinitely better than James Corden. Still, Corden is the only one who could have pulled this off and he did it well.

I've always wondered what Paul thought about this.  :)

I don't watch any of the late night talk shows unless I'm flipping through the channels and happen to see an interesting guest.  But that happens almost never.  I also liked Craig Ferguson quite a lot.  I wish he could have kept his show.  James Corden might sometimes have a good show like the one with Paul McCartney, but he is nowhere near Craig Ferguson's level as a talk show host, IMO.

I don't know how Paul McCartney would take the Angela Lansbury comparison.  But if someone compared me to someone else in their 90s, I doubt if I'd let it affect me very much.

It's so nice and sometimes emotional. His new song is on the radio daily and I like it. Pulsing bass, nice melody, nice building up to a sitar kinda solo and horns, a little bass solo line in the end. Addictive song.

I thought it was cute too. Yes, Macca isn't the most in depth person on earth and he lacks Lennon's vitriolic yet entertaining cynicism, but we like him for what he is. And what he can do with his art.
