Yes, the Shine is the same bass, even better looking headstock. IMO.

wonder how a dark star DS2 in black chrome would sound/look in that thing? just a bump in the night thought........ ;)

I've seen pictures of a similar Ibanez that someone did the same thing to. They seemed to like it a lot.

Found a "Shine" on the UK market... thanks Dave...

UK ebay price was £269 from a seller not that far from me... speakers and refins come first, so...
