I used to play an musicmaster upside down I think it looks great. or a single cut archtop bass with the cutaway on the uperside I like it.

those pick ups are used in lot's of old japanese basses. I just one in my homebuilt bass. And have I think another 4 or 5 lying around. I really love the sound of them.

it's missing it's orginal pickguard and PU cover. the price is too high. That's a pitty.

If you use a Mustang bass bridge, you can still do a string thru design.  They are set up that way.  The Musicmaster/Bronco are not.  

If you can get your hands on a squier musicmaster bass vista series then you got an string trough bridge.

I have ordered an lefty thinline telecaster body, wicht I'n going to blend with an bronco bas to make myself an lefty thinline tele short scale bass. I'n still in doubt wich pu's I'm going to use. I know it's going to me an chrome one, but I have several pu's laying around. Some telecaster guitar neck SG, A telecaster bass hb, And EPI eb-3 set and some japanse 70's HB's.
