I resisted as long as I could. Today was Gibson day at the House of Guitars, I made a silly video to help promote the occasion, I had no intention of buying this bass when I woke up this morning. Bruce one of the owners of the HOG offered me the bass for a price I couldn't refuse. I'll do a proper video when I get it home (it's on layaway) at any rate this is good for a larf.

Found a good and appreciative home.
Congratulations Scott!

That bass has an amazing grunt to it. It is a regular sidewinder pickup under the cover?
-
Honestly I am unsure. Gene states that it us a recreation of the original pickup in his EB0 just what that means I'm not sure lol. Once I get it home I'll take it apart for a look see.

Did you guys watch the last show ppv last night?
I'm surprised he only played punishers and axes, not 1 Gibson.
I was thinking the folks at Gibson who worked the endorsement deal are probably a bit disappointed.
-
I didn't watch it, maybe I'll buy the DVD or something. Usually if I want to watch KISS I hit Youtube watch early pre '78 shows with 74-75 being my favorite era.
KISS isn't done by a long shot, for well over ten years I've been saying that KISS will continue long after Gene and Paul can take the stage.

Who better than you, Scott? Perfect match.
And your short vid is lovely, God of Sawdust!

Congrats Scott!
Nice score

Great and you sound great on it too!

Great video, and it made the bass which was already appealing even more appealing. I can see why getting a good price on that made it irresistible.
