Anybody tried one for bass?  I'm thinking of getting one for low-cost, no-fuss home headphone practicing for both guitar and bass.

Living in a small apartment with a family of 3 has its drawbacks, one of which is I can't really practice electric guitar anymore, and I kinda miss it.
Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy

It's not really designed for bass, is it?

No, but it's got a couple dozen amp models and looks fairly tweakable. I'll have to just try one, won't I?

I've got one of the original regular-sized PODs and I think it's great for practicing guitar. I've definitely used it for bass too, but I usually just run through my Pro Tools stuff for bass. I think it should work fine.
