Would look (and sound) a whole lot better with a pair of TB pups on it instead of Fender style pups IMHO  :vader:

I don't think the Spector headstock goes well with the tBird body. The body's all about forward motion and then it comes to a dead stop at the end of the neck. There's a Fernandez lookalike that has the same problem.

Sure enough, it is. How did miss that? My excuse is that I hadn't had my morning coffee yet.

I don't think the headstock looks right either. Have there been any other Thunderbird's with 2+2 headstocks that looked right? I know that GMP guitars made Thunderbirds with longer 2+2's, but I'm having trouble finding a good pick. If you scroll thru this crap on this link you'll see a couple of crappy pic's a a GMP T-bird.

Nikki almost looks healthy in that pic. I have always wanted a Spector but I hate the curved stock body shape, I'd love a Tbird one ! Yeah the 2+2 don't look right but I'd hit it ;)

I'd take one of the Spectors just to have one. I'd have bought one of the Fernandez copies but it's a bolt neck and too pricey for a cheaper copy.

Thanks George! The GMP headstock looks better than the Spector IMO.

I've got a Rebop 5. I'm not wild about the look of the body, but it works, and the neck is great. Actually the Tbird would probably look better with the 5-string headstock. Now there's an interesting project for someone. :P

Fugly!

As for a 2+2 headstock - an Ibanez Iceman style would probably work. (Sorry, this 3+1 Greco is all I could find)
