Here she is all dressed up for Saturday night ! I just installed the PG this morning. I used the Bach PG hole pattern as I didn't want to put more holes in the bass right away. I had to make the "tail" that points to the Bridge a little thicker than a Gibson PG so it would cover the screw hole in the Bach Pattern. I think next time I will follow the Gibson screw pattern. The Bach PG is a bit smaller than the Gibson and the screw holes are farther into my repro PG than I would like. I can't wait to gig this bass tonight !

I'd like a black one with white edging aka Ripper. Bet that would look great on my black one.

I'm not sure which names on the list haven't received their BaCHbird yet.
Not all candidates are from the Outpost. Some don't even frequent any of the boards that I recruted from.
Originally there were 59 basses ordered. Some names dropped out along the way. And some names were added, once the first basses were showing up.
As far as I know BaCH only made 50 BaCHbirds (20 in the first run and 30 in the second)

I was wondering how many were made. Are they serial numbered? I saw a comment about early thick-bodied ones and later thin-bodied ones, but are the thick ones the first 20?

No kidding!

Denis does the serial number start with "U" ?

Serial is I06090992. The other T-bird (my first one) is I06090725. Do Chinese serial numbers begin with "U"?

Does it say Made In Korea? I don't know if they're all Chinese now, but IIRC in 2006 at least some Epi lines were MIK.
Nice score, can't beat that for 85 bucks.

It does have the plaque on the back indicating it was made in Korea, so I was surprised, honestly. The Korean ones are pretty darn nice.

Good for making a 7enderbird.......... ;D
The neck is too big for my girlish hands.

Hahaha, making a Fenderbird out of it HAD crossed my mind and it's a better option than smashing it on stage.

I really should curtail my browsing of Craigslist...  ;)

Some kid had this 2006 Korean T-bird on Craigslist yesterday and I picked it up today at lunch. Looked like it was left in a room where someone was doing some drywall and it had been knocked over a couple of times (paint spots on the headstock) and there's a little buckle rash on the back. But for $85 I couldn't say no. Plays well too!

He said it was bought new last year, but I though all T-birds were made in China now? It's only 200-odd numbers later than my other one.

1) Does McCartney get his songs back now? I think Paul was able to buy them back awhile ago, one can only hope.

I think Sir Paul does get the Beatles song rights back since Jackson is dead.

Jackson overshadowing Farrah's demise reminds me of the week James Brown's death made the news for an hour or so - the week Reagan died.  I just heard on the radio that the lead singer from The Seeds died, too.

Farrah was much prettier than Jackson was though!

Ole Sky was definitely a strange one too, but those old songs from The Seeds were terrific!

All websites claiming his death is a hoax are swamped...
I like him but he played the same thing in every movie I ever saw him in.

My box was damaged too, about 2/3 up where the neck should be, but it was perfect when I opened it up.
Here's mine! The logo is only in one place too.  :) All hail Roman, indeed!

As long as we are on such topics, one of my great, great uncles, Jeff, fought for the Confederacy but his brother Frank fought for the Union. Jeff was killed, Frank lived until the 1920s. Another person purported to be a distant relative of mine commanded a U-boat in WWII.
