Cute little pop song. How exactly do you define "serious" musicians?

Death to all butt metal  ;D

Do you have to be a parody of a metal band to get any attention today?

Lovely video.

Some subjects just tend to butt in - posts to posteriors, how can you tell them apart?

Define "serious" musician? Having a regular name like Lexxi Foxx helps.

"Define" serious METAL musicians...

1) No room for any more tattoo's on any part of your skin, and I MEAN any...
2) Having a wart transplanted to your face...
3) Having the words "Place Pussy Here" tattoed to the inside of your lips...
4) Having a subdermal cucumber implant to the inside of your upper thigh (or maybe a marrow, for the more adventurous...)
5) Spending at least $1000 (it goes without saying that they would have to be American, or at least pretending to be) on your hairstyle, to make it look like you just got out of bed...

Go on, think up some more cliches, I know I can...  8)

Please note that in no way can you mention musical instruments at any time...  ;D

6) Mention JS Bach and Paganini as your biggest influence (while playing 8ths and rootnotes only)

Great Lyrics, makes Zappa sound like kiddy music.

Two comments: 1) The teacher should have left her glasses on when she stripped, and 2) the teacher should have left her glasses on when she stripped.

That was from the Discover Card commercial featuring Danger Kitty. Mid-90s?

Aren't Steel Panther and Danger Kitty pretty much the same guys?

I noticed her door said Principal Hardazz. Makes me wonder why a hardazz would be against butt metal.  ;D

Same band. They've undergone three or four name changes over the years. They were called Metal Shop when they did the Danger Kitty spot. There's a management company that was started by the singer of an L.A. band called Roxanne that started with a 70's spoof band called Boogie Knights. I remember an interview with the guy 10-12 years ago where he described the mounds of money he started making by putting together various spoof bands and how much more fun he was having than when he was trying to 'make it'. I don't know whether he put together the original Metal Shop/Metal Skool/Steel Panther, but at some point they had a falling out with him and bailed. He kept the original name and put together another Metal Shop after they bailed.

Here's the guy's roster as of today:

Gotta hand it to him, when they L.A. scene imploded he sure didn't go down with it...
