If Marshall were really serious about bass amps they'd figure out some way to buy Genz Benz's Streamliner technology and stick a Marshal name on it.
No doubt - LOVE my Streamliner 900!!! I also have a Shuttle Max 12.0, and have owned a NeoPak 3.5 and GBE600 as well - all were outstanding pieces of gear...
On the bright side, Genz-Benz's head design engineer is currently working for Mesa - I'd expect something good to come of that...
