Here I'm playing with Assi Geffen live on the Israeli music channel. It's a see-thru TV studio they set up in the Tel Aviv harbor.

You know how TV directors always focus on the guitar and you hardly get a glimpse of the bass? Well this is NOT the case here... I think he liked the white Ric...

Ric close-ups at 2:12 and 3:02, extreme toaster close up at 4:42...

Verry Coool! The closeup was 4:57 tho. :D

The barefoot blond is nice. ;)

We don't need to know what the words mean, the music is cool enuf.
Still...I'm wondering what the song is about.

It's about new years resolutions that were not kept.

Nice bass work, Ilan and Brett. I need to sit and listen to more of these. Often I don't because I'm already listening intently to something from my own music collection.

Extreme Toaster Close Up: new band name or new album title?  ;)

Brett, excellent playing! And a catchy tune, I liked that.

Dave: I was thinking of "The Wavy Grovers" for a band name

Anyone got 10 songs up on myspace yet? That's the new limit, raised from just 6.
Anyone selling songs there yet? Gotta learn how to do that.
I hear they ain't sellin' well there compared to iTunes.
Anyone sellin' toons on iTunes? How do ya do that?

Our CD Kharma Baby is available on iTunes. (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=278652269&s=143452)
The nice folks of CD Baby took care of that for us.

When your CD is availble at CD Baby, it will -after a while- automatically be available on several download sites.
As well as other online stores such as Amazon.com etc

For more info check www.cdbaby.com (for customers) and www.cdbaby.net (for artists)

Me covering an Elvin Bishop song
« Reply #115 on: June 16, 2009, 02:59:15 AM »

My Jamaican alter-ego peforms this classic by Elvin Bishop.

As always I played and sang EVERYTHING here. The instruments used were my self made Fenderbird bass, my Yamaha PSR 2500 keyboard, my 1989 Squier Stratocaster "The Veteran", my seventies Ibanez Marauder copy and a really ancient pair of Marracas.

I hope you guys like my version

Well heck, I posted early in this but just included a link to you YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/colocoug.

Here's one of my favorite videos from that channel - Peter Gunn, with a guest harmonica player and one of our regular drummer's buddies sitting in.

And here's another good one - Ghost Riders / Rawhide played surf style:
