Front pickup: split-coil. Check.

Rear pickup: narrow single-coil. Check.

It's a P/J.

No, the pickup spacing isn't the same. No, it's not an alder or ash bolt-on. No, it won't sound just like a Fender.

It's still a P/J.

I think some sorta combination of the two versions would look real nice, but on their own, they both look kinda jacked up.

Yeah, I like the "Ric-inspired" one except for the bridge/tailpiece. Too busy looking.

I'm with Dave on this.

That older version looks really cool though.  Despite not being a fan of how busy and crowded it is, somehow it works overall.

Well, the real bidding stopped at about $530.  Then two clowns bid it up to $1028.  I guess they really needed to have it.
