He doesn't really look elated, does he? Should have bought him a Fender.

He's not in the least!  He finds it a bit hard to stand on the paper!  Kinda like Bambi.......  :)

;D That explains it. Dogs hate that.

A German Boxer. Not a fashion dog at all these days (unlike in the sixties and early seventies in Germany where they were prevalent together with Shepherds, Dachshunds, Poodles, Collies, Spaniels and Dalmatians). How come the choice or did he (not sure but don't I see a bump somewhere ...) choose you?

I would have been nervous about here.  It looks like he is considering pissing on it.  ;)

Ha! 2 basses & he's a Kollector?
When you have one for every day of the Summer & halfway thru the cold seasons then we'll be impressed.

Those 2 ARE very nice tho!!

Dog pee would be a new relicing concept I guess. NOSBPO (new old stock, but peed on). The adventures of nitro and the golden shower.

Now if that dog actually played (pawed?) those basses, his owner would be on to something!

This has all the makings of a good Fender advertisement . He definately looks like he's about ready to piss on it ;D
Could be Gibsons version of the Pee Bass.

Stop talking, or Fender will sue you for revealing their trade secrets.

Beautiful dog. Boxers are one of my favorite breeds. Nice bass, too!

Ears and tail intact too? Can't see the tail, is it cut?

Yes, his tail was cut before we had any chance for that decision, but when we found out we could spare his ears, we did.  We have a girl too:

The breeder was showing her for a while, so her ears and tail were docked before we had her.  Great dogs, and two completely different personalities.

More here if anyone gets bored:

Good decision. I like Great Danes and Boxers with their ears and tails undocked. Silly practice it was.
