In case your old ...

... Tubular Bells copy has become worse for wear ...

Don't knock him too hard, the guy is a card-carrying Oldfieldolyte,

hearing Tubular Bells was pivotal for him as a young Welshman and this is a labor of love and reverence for Oldfield's early works (I read an interview of his in PROG Magazine, he basically took a sabbatical from his other bands and music to create this). With hundreds of bands emulating the sounds of say Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Nirvana and what have you, I think it's ok if one guy takes Oldfield as an inspiration and tributes him. And he does have that "violin-guitar"-tone of his idol down pat. Love the vid at 1.01, he's not sour-faced about what he does. But he did get MO's original producer to mix/produce it.

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Vivian Stanshall has a lot to answer for, God rest him...  ;)
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
