Title: IM Peter Boer
Post by: Chris P. on December 08, 2022, 06:22:38 AM
Some of you might know him and you certainly have seen some pics. Fellow Dutchman Peter Boer has passed away. He once made a Fender Tractor Bass, and later he started Peterbuilt Basses, making Fenders like the Lotto Bass. Recently he started The Rickenbacker Farm and the pics of all of his green, green/blue and blue Ricks are all over social media.

He was only 49. I'm shocked.

Another Instagram follower here, intrigued by his work, picturing an idyllic life with expansive shots of Rickenbacker basses.

RIP. 49 is no age really. The amount of death around at the moment is puzzling.

He posted here as PeterB. He showed off some of his projects.

I remember looking at blue and green basses , often with checkerboard binding , toasters and sometimes even a horseshoe. He was quite a figure in the Ric world.
And 49 is far too early. I didn’t have any contact with him , but was certainly aware of the Farm and Peterbuilt basses.
Godspeed.

I remember his work and yes, 49 is too young. Very sad.
