.....  I always use a .047 cap, so that is a constant in my wiring schemes.  I've also been trying the orange drops with some success rather than ceramics. ....

+1 - I love the Orange drops - an excellent $2.00 investment!

Yeah, I work in post production. Me and thousands of guys and gals just like me are currently out of work as well, except our time off hasn't been voluntary.  ::)

Damn, sorry to hear about the forced vacation :(

I'm normally not a big union supporter but in this instance I think the writers have a valid argument.  I don't watch a lot of TV but there are few shows I actually look forward to.

Damn those writers! If I were working right now I'd buy one of those and put it away for my sons. A nice short scale would be good to start with!

Hey George, are you back in the film business?

Like Chris said:

Gibsongruppenführer

Ah, yes, forgot to include that one.  This one is very good as well.

But, would us lazy Americans be forced to download a new language layout for our keyboards to include the umlaut?  And does this name somehow manifest his distaste for things shiny? :D

Seems like we have two official leaders here - Dave and Uwe.

Uwe seems to go by many monikers and Dave is just - Dave, which works fine for me.

Uwe, on the other hand has many names:

Dr. Venöm

Gibsonbassenwaffenfuhrerbergermiester

The Antichrome

Lawyer

The question is - should Uwe be bestowed with an official title?

You heard him! .........now obey!  There's an international incident in the works  :) I *have* to travel first class with chromey 'Birds right beside me for the long flight to Holland, no baggage compartment for them!

Pffftt!  He just wants you for your Birds :D

As for the gifts - QVC has a strict no returns policy so you two are stuck with the soup tureen >:(  If it looks like you two are going stick it out for the long haul, and Chris' girlfriend doesn't cause a seen at the alter at the get go, I'll order the matching gravy boat for the first anniversary :P

Thanks for the explanation, Daniel. I wasn't looking at the blonde(s), just Marina. :) I'm surprised I even noticed the bassist.

Damn, I love this place!  Bass?  When there's a hot brunette in the picture? ;D

Dave, I do question your judgement on this - I mean, come on - the blonde much hotter :o

Well, there's always "BarklessDog Industries"

As a homage to my first cartoon love I've thought about the "ACME" moniker ;D

Baa, I liked it - killer bass tone!

I just can't adjust to "chicks" singing the low "Na, Na, Na" backing vocals :D

Well, I've thought about what to put on some of my home builds.  A bare headstock just needs something - what, I don't know.  I'm not sure about your name though - kind of reminds me of the pickups you see down here sometime - you know, "Bubba" on the driver's side of the back glass and "Thelma Lou" on the passenger side :D

But, let us not forget the rainbow "SRV" stickers that a Texas guy stuck on a few of his guitars ::)  Keep in mind he could play fairly well :)
