Hey, cool retro pics!  I had some similar hair there myself!  That's me with the j bass.  I didn't fall in love with hollow bodies until just a few years ago.  Now I can't get enough of them!

Yeah.  Cool clothes.  We also tried wearing matching clothes once in a while.  But we could only wear them about once a month as it was so hard to get the lead guitar player's mom to wash his clothes any more often than that.

You actually washed stage clothes?  We just hit them with some deodorant each week, and washed them about once a month or so.  Rob Grange once said (I asked him about this fringed jumpsuit that Ted Nugent used to wear - it looked great from far away, but really mangy up close) that they HAD to put Ted's clothes in a sealed plastic bag they were so pungent.  They'd hit Chicago, and head over to Ted's mom's place (RIP Marion), and she'd do laundry and feed them.

Yeah, we didn't wash them after every gig, but enough to keep the girls from running away fromnthe stage!  Ah, those were the days!  Sure wish I still had that 63 CAR j bass!

The problem was that the lead guitar player didn't have any other clothes . . . or at least it seemed that way.  His were always darker than ours because of all the dirt!

I have one pair of leather pants that are 20 plus years old........................................... never been dry cleaned. Funny I don't smell anything.

The cutaway is different. The horn is shorter than on real vintage H-22's.

No, just comparing the pic in the Harmony website with pics of 60's H-22's.

At $899 for an H22 the question becomes - do you want an H22 re-issue or an Epi Jack Casady??  I've seen the Casady at a local shop under $600.

The H22 seems overpriced to me.  I had expected it to run more around $500.

I REALLY like hollowbodies and the H22 look, but think I'd take the Jack version.   ;)
