I liked it until the bassist started singing - then I liked it again when they showed the people in the audience!

Excellent tone he gets from his Ric. Geddy mod with the shimmed BadAss, but his RH technique requires that. And what is the deal with the mandolin guy?
The guy who bought the same bass twice — first in 1977 and again in 2023

Yeah, these guys were a big influence on Rush with their multi-tasking/sequencers/bass pedals/etc. The mandolin guy is Nash the Slash. He left after the first album for a solo career - and I really mean solo. He did a one man show for a couple of decades and just recently retired. They got a guy named Ben Mink to replace him and did 3 great records with him. Then they re-grouped in the mid 80s and did a couple of pretty poor pop records. Their career was plagued by bankrupt record labels and distributors.  :-\
