I was thinking exactly the same Uwe. :)
I sent the seller a question if he'd consider shipping to the Netherlands.

I wouldn't be surprised if this Les Paul Bass has a neck repair hiding behind the refin (maybe even a replaced neck??).
The headstock looks wrong to me. The gold logo isn't correct. It should be mother of pearl. And there's no MOP crown inlay either. Looks more like an EB3 headstock/neck to me...

like this one (except wider, couldn't find the right pic soon enough):

this is how a Les Paul Bass headstock should look like:

I know I shouldn't say that, but I kinda like the mirror guard ...

It's very Phil Lynott. Which is always good of course.

I think it is small. Really they're not that big.
And who cares if they're heavy. You don't need to haul them around if it's for studio use only.

For studio needs, I'd say the Ampeg Portaflex B-15 is the perfect amp.

I have a Greco Thunderbird too. I has a real powerful growly tone.
The (set) neck is a bit chunkier than a Gibson Tbird, but other than that it's pretty close to the real thing.
I bought it in 2003 from Takahiro Nasu in Tokyo through Ebay.

I used it on one of the songs of our new album.
Here's a short sample.

And I've been using it in another band that I'm helping out till they've found a new bassplayer.
I found out it goes really well with the Orange AD200. The Greco Tbird wakes up the beast inside the AD200.

Nothing wrong with Hema.
They (almost) always have high quality stuff, well designed, yet affordable.

Strange, I do see the drawing.

There's three wires on each pickup.

I think how I wired them is called in series.
