I've known Phil Parr for about 50 years since he joined a popular country band in the Houston area as bassist. He's lived in Lufkin, Texas for about 40 years.

Here's a segment about him that was broadcast in 2005 on the syndicated TV show Texas Country Reporter. It was just uploaded to YT.

Think about him next time you think you can't do something.
