Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but...
https://www.dw.com/en/men-escape-nursing-home-for-wacken-what-really-happened/a-44994117

Doesn't that sort of imply in a backhand way that people with mental health issues want to attend heavy metal festivals?

The original story is much better even if it wan't accurate.

It all makes sense! Dr. Rob was there:

"When the power chords come crashing down
Go tearing through my senses
It's for the strong, not for the weak
In light and dark dimension
It stimulates, regenerates
It's therapeutic healing

It lifts our feet up off the ground
And blasts us through the ceiling
Between the eyes
I hear it screaming
And it electrifies
Your inner feelings

Hot shock waves charge the air
All heads are banging
Fists pumping everywhere
Guitars are cranking
Heavy metal, heavy metal
What do you want
Heavy metal, heavy metal
What do you want
Ten thousands lights come blazing down
With razor sharp precision
The speakers pour out molten steel
The beat gives double vision
An armor plated raging beast
That's born of steel and leather
It…"

And the mighty Priest played Wacken this year too.

Nuff said. But perhaps the gentlemen felt some pain too? No matter, immediate relief was offered.

Germany, the country of state health insurance and other socialist abominations, careth for all.

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

I don't even begin to understand what this question might be aiming at!?

Metal and madness is like eggs and omelettes. Or the other way around.

You can't exactly take it seriously, but I liked that movie.  Saw it at the theater and then on cable a few times.
It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

They didn't even go to the festival. They apparently were just wandering around. Merely another couple of nut cases looking to get drunk. While that may have some parallels to the  heavy metal community, it's certainly not a litmus test.
