One of the funniest things I ever heard about Motorhead wasn't about Lemmy, it was about Phil Taylor.
Taylor once had his arm broken and he played gigs using gaffer tape to tape his sticks to his hand making it possible for him to continue drumming.
But after a drunken row with a bouncer who was able to lift the drummer above his head, Taylor fell to the floor breaking his neck, and as he was carried away by the paramedics he joked to his fellow bandmembers by saying "Awh don't worry, they'll gaffer tape it back on."
It was on the "Classic albums" special of Motorhead's "Ace of spades" album. And because I am a good samaritan, I'll gladly show you guys that particular thing.
