Title: $300 for a Bicentennial PG - ARGH!!!!!
Post by: Denis on October 13, 2010, 10:40:09 AM
I wonder what he thinks is a decent offer... I pitched him one, so I'll wait and see what he says.

Strictly for patriots! 90% of all proceeds to go to a Veterans' Home. In my book the only possible justification for that price.

Hmm, if you could take one of yours and do a high resolution color scan of it you could email me the file. That way it would be 100% scale plus allow me to properly position the design (whichever method I go with), complete with all the gnarly details. That would work!

Denis,

I don't have a high res scanner but a co-worker might, let me check with him when he returns to work on Saturday.

That would be great, Mark! GoT send me some pg scraps as a practice canvas, so if your co-worker can do it, that would be most excellent.

By the way, the seller turned down my totally insane (for me) offer.

That's crazy high in relation to the going rate for a Bicentennial 'bird. But if you insist on an original, what else can you do but make an offer and hope?
