"It's a smart monkey"

Nice coat!

It was probably upset when it found out the furniture at Ikea comes unassembled.

The whole damn city was talking about this yesterday and the photoshops that were flying around were pretty funny.

I love visiting Ikea... but not the (Svedish Meatballs) restaurant...

Deeply disapointed that they appear to have dropped the cloudberry jam...

Now Darwin the Ikea monkey is in a sanctuary. He now has a Facebook page as a link to a fundraising campaign for the sanctuary to pay for his care.

His owner came forward and may try to fight to get him back. Not a good idea IMO. Stupid humans.

I go ape about the special offers there all the time.

Ikea currently has bad press in Germany about having used forced-labor components from East Germany and Red China in the past.

I feel the need to point out at this juncture that E Germany produced some very fine products, such as my beloved Microtech Gefell MV692 mic body with UM70 and M70 capsules (Georg Neuman was on the wrong side of the wall, in a little town called Gefell at the end of the war) without forced labour.

Dialectically valid comeback, I think.
