No refin it, your not a white bass kind of guy.

Bad arse rock and white basses don't mix. if your doing a soul, wedding, Moody Blues / Angel revival or alternative thing then go ahead.

I know Scott rocks a White bass, but still ....

I should refin it, But that's just 'cause I don't like white basses. It suits the bird the white but I think it's way coller in another colour.

The pickguart's material was a bit puzzling to me. Because of the dark inner core being thicker that the two withe outher sleeves.

Tequila-burst...

Rob, I can let you know which car colours I used - only five colours needed as the body is already white...

The 20/20 pup Tony/Tube' send me just doesn't suit the RD, but at least it fits the hole... A thought came to me as I have a spare EMG Select that came out of the Tequilabird - I really like the sound they make in my Hohne Jack (reason I got one for my T'bird - body issue - too good) - If I removed the internals of the 20/20 I could fit the EMG within it and then it would fit the Artist scratchplate, but how best to remove the potting...?

any views...?

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Is it sealed in epoxy?
If so, there's is no way you'll get it out undamaged...

The new one is in! But I have to cut out the hole for the pick up first.

I would just inform that I carefully drilled the two lateral holes of the TB three-holes cover in the Artec pickup and it still works perfectly. In this way I can better regulate the distance between the PU and the strings. I did not drill the central hole and put just a dummy screw.
