Straight from Mojo Hobo to me. :) I hope no one accuses it of being Carolina Blue, especially since I went to NC State..

I understand. SOME colors are simply verboten for graduates of specific schools.

Thanks, John! Looking forward to getting it though it will arrive while I'm  out of town next week.

Three total. This will be my second TH-1 Series II and the third is a Series III TH-2. I really love that shape!

I wouldn't have been disappointed to open the package from Bach and find a blue Bird inside. I am happy with my skinny black one tho.

Very nice Denis!  When I lived in N.C. back in the late 70's/early 80's you wore Nike sneakers with either a red or blue swoosh.

Congrats Denis. As far as I can see it is still 100% original. With knurled knobs. And the jack input and tone pot switched.

By the way, BaCH is going to end the production of the TH basses.  :-[

Haha, yeah, I remember that! In those days, no one I knew gave a flip about Duke; it was all NC State or Carolina.

Thanks! The only things I think I'm going to do to it are switch the jack input and tone pot, replace the pots with CTS pots and put on LaBella flats.
I was on BaCH's site the other day and notice they list now a lot of flavors of the TH basses. Some even have belly cuts and arm cuts. I suppose they never sold as many as they thought they would?

Yes, it is 100% original, probably the only one that is.

Is this a clever attempt to talk me into keeping it 100% original?  ;D

Other than strings, pots and switching location of the tone and input jack, my black one is totally as it came. My TH-2 is original except for the pots and strings.

That one has a small ding in the headstock where I hit the glass globe on the kitchen ceiling light.  :P  It had the strap on it and I picked it up off the stand to put onto the kitchen island when it hit the globe. Dinged the headstock but that old glass globe was unaffected. Lucky me! Did not relish a shower of glass raining down.

That blue one sure is purty! I always wanted one of the white ones.

You could have had my white one at one point.  I replaced the pickup with a '60s Gibson, and a CTS volume pot.  Carlo grabbed it.
