Someone here really needs to get this! I wish I could, since I have a blue one and a black one.

I may bid but if someone really wants it let me know and I'll stand down. No sense bidding against each other.
-
I'm thinking that might have belonged to Tom once. It had a $666 BIN a few days ago which IIRC was around what his went for.
-
I sold mine to a guy in Nashville (ironic!) with one of Scott's pickguards and a regular black with gold lettering Gibson TRC on it, and a custom flight case.
-
Mea Culpa!
-
I have my black one out right now. These are great basses!
-
Looks like mine prior to the transformation

I'm gonna try to get that white one on ebay. Seems to be pretty much what I want. If I get it, I'll most likely unload my cherry TH-2.
-
I'm just dreaming over here... ;)
-
Those Series II's are great. If I hadn't just bought the Kubicki I'd be all over this one. Hope you get it!

I have a white one and a blue one and wish I'd bought a black one, too!

Haha, between us we have it covered! I think the blue ones come up for sale least often, with white next. The black ones seem to be the ones most generally put up for sale.
-
True, I think that most people that have bought a blue bass have thought more about it than people that have bought a black one. I'm not saying that buying a black one is wrong thru! :D
-
Funny, I like the black ones the most, the blue ones the least!
-
I had a black Bach and a blue one. Sometimes I wish I kept the blue one Denis now has, but I have the blue 2013 NR, the blue money bass and two blue Carvins so I'm a little heavy into blue. I never did care for white basses though.
-
I haven't done anything to the blue one I bought from you. If I do ANYTHING to it the changes would be limited to string and CTS pot replacements. It's really all they need.
-
When the Series II's came out there were no color options other than the black, white and blue. And when we ordered them wasn't it a crapshoot as to which color we received? I seem to remember it that way. I've had 2 black ones over the years. The first one I modded with the pots (rearranged them too), Scott pickguard, and proper looking reverse kluson type tuners.
-
Came real close to bidding on this one too.
I don't really know the difference between the series on these, but I know I can still get black Single Pickup and trans red double pickup.

That's what I recall. We all ordered "a bass", and it was the luck of the draw that determined what we got. I think we were able to ask for a preference, but no guarantees. I was very happy with my white one. My first nice bass ever was a '66 Thunderbird II NR.
-
I think Gweimer is correct about the color "choice". The two that arrived at Joe's (Chromium) were a white and black, and I ended up with the black. Its a great bass that I really enjoy playing.
-
When I contacted BaCH they actually gave me a choice of either the last blue one or the last black one.
-
Sold for $405! Hope someone here got it.
-
That's a damn good deal!

It's actually less than what I paid for mine when I got it. Whoever got that bass should be very happy.
