Entwistle Sunn Coliseum bass Rig!
« on: May 26, 2008, 02:39:23 PM »
I play bass for "Live The WHO"; a WHO Tribute band out of Metro Detroit.

Here are some pics of my early 70's Entwistle Sunn Coliseum rig!
We played the 94.7FM WCSX "Concert That Never Was" this past Saturday night...

THE SOUND IS MASSIVE!
...yes, they are all plugged in!

Enjoy...
Curt

Very nice!  Love the jacket too.  I played through an old Coliseum Lead head way back when because I heard Chris Squire used one.  Had one of those 215 cabs too.  Too cool.

The Ox lives !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy shit ! You sound dead on, I am f'ng impressed  :o I wish we were doing a Who tribute set instead of Lead Zepplin. Man your Fenderbird sounds great through the Sunn Coliseums. You should be playing bass for The Who. Thats it I'm building a J.E. Fenderbird.

Love it! Really captures the spirit and idiosyncracy of The Who.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

I meant every word. A labor of love, that is very plain to see. On par with a classical musician performing the works of the great composers.
