I think "1988 Metallica" is my favorite, 1:04.

From the first video I'm probably the bored guy on bass but the serious practice guy on flute. I bought a flute last year and have been studiously learning to play it. I learned bass by listening to other bassists on recordings, but you can't really fake it on flute like that.  :mrgreen:

Not yet! Truthfully Ian Anderson's flute technique is fairly idiosyncratic and impenetrable.

One of his tricks was to sing notes in parallel to playing them. He was inspired to do so by Roland Kirk. My girlfriend really doesn't like this sound, but occasionally I do it!
