"Killing" is such an ugly und coarse term for it, call it "cleansing" or "rebuilding the band from the bottom up". Or "dialing your inner Sid Vicious", he lurks in all of us.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Judging by the brass hardware, that's an unusually clean 40-year-old Ibanez Blazer he's playing.
On the one hand it'd be plenty heavy enough to bludgeon his bandmates to death with, and sturdy enough to be playable afterward.
On the other hand, he might wish it had more wear and tear to disguise the inevitable dents and bloodstains.
Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy
