Nemesis N series
« on: August 04, 2008, 12:01:15 PM »
My son just bought a Nemesis N15--200 Watts/one 15" speaker 45lbs

1.  Anybody ever play through one of these??? He didn't really ask my advice first....

2.  I see they have a 200 Watt model with 2 eight" speakers---would eights even be enough to gig with??????bet it would sound tight...

I've got a Nemesis stack (though not the N15), and I like it a lot: it's good stuff, made by Eden.
It gives good quality, a fair price and it doesn't weigh much.

On the other hand: 2 eight" speakers might be a bit thin for a gig, though that also depends
on the kind of music that is played, and how much power the other musicians use.
For rehearsals it'll sound fine, and if you add an 15" cab you'll have all the deep you want.....

To my mind your son did a good buy, but that's just my 3 cents.....

It (the N15) sounds pretty darn good for 45LBS--deep, plenty loud and clean--from what I can hear...
