Interesting. Hadn't heard of him or the band. I followed the link to the live (in-studio) video. Good song, and you can definitely hear the bass.

He obviously knows what he wants in the way of tone. good for him.

The Current is local to me but I don't listen. Not much there for my tastes.

I really like Dawes.

I enjoyed the story of the bass as well as the performances.

From the photos, looks like pretty nice work on that body.  Interesting selection of pickups, and definitely ought to provide a wide range of sounds.
