I also like the Nate Mendel sig, although I'm not a fan of FF.

I was about to post the same. It's color scheme appeals to me.

The colour scheme is cool and so is the light worn finish. The Badass and '70s script are nice and the neck is not that wide.If I wanted a medium prices P it would be high on my list because of that.

Ah well, you didn't specify "early-period Dee Dee", did you?

I so remember that picture! I think a Dee Dee Musicmaster in Daphne blue (or was it sonic blue?) would be awesome! Pretty sure the first album was done with the Musicmaster.

They say it's got a C neck.  That should have a B neck.

It's signature because it comes with a very long strap and you can only play in "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight!"-time with it.

It's nice that The Ramones (or their descendants) are at least seeing now some money.

And I don't believe for a minute that Johnny couldn't afford a seedy gig bag for his Mosrite or whatever it was - I believe the paper bag was a statement of protest against other musos and legend building ahead of its time.

My son would never put his guitar in a gig bag or case either when he went to rehearsals (he had both, in good quality). His argument was  "that we attract more attention with wearing the guitars open". So his poor (Custom Shop!) Les Paul was dragged through the London Tube while he lived there with the guys from his then band. And it shows to this day!

I believe Uwe uses one of the old Zeppelin hangers to store his cases...

The cases and the storage space they demand actually drive me nuts!

Slap on a rosewood neck and sell it as the "Sid" P-Bass...
