Still do! Body is not larger than the LPs of yore but much thicker than even the thickest Standard, making the bass weigh a ton (but it also hangs well for the weight). The three pups make for variable sounds and can be combined endlessly (the toggle is a kill switch, the pups are operated via the three knobs, the fourth one being treble. Of course, skull knobs are a must.
The BFG look of the bass doesn't so much look unfinished as archaic, people that have no idea about basses and guitars, much less finishes, are always drawn to it ("oh, that one looks interesting, is that made of leather?").
