David Rea had a writing credit on Mississippi Queen and got Felix, Corky and Leslie to play on his own album.
I haven't heard this before and thought I mine as well share it here.
Sure sounds like Corky on the skins and probably Leslie playing some slide. Don't know if Felix is playing bass or something else.

That Vagrants album was re-released last year by Light In The Attic records. I bought the 180g vinyl. It's pretty great, a garage rock classic.

Since we're on the subject, here's the band that never was.  After hearing Corky's interview, I can guess why.

The credits on all music include Corky on drums and Gerald Jemmott on bass as well. I would think they meant Jerry Jemmott who is a monster player. Norbert Putnam cut lots of great studio tracks too. Shame you can only get it on vinyl.

In the liner notes there's an interview with Johnny Ramone. They all went to Forest Hills High School at the same time. He said he mostly knew Larry from study hall. He was pretty much on permanent suspension 'cause all he cared about was The Vagrants and growing his hair.

Steve Knight?

Steve Knight was a good guy. I think he passed away not too long ago. It was more of Felix's desire to have a keys player than Leslie's I think. He did well considering what he had to contend with on stage. He wasn't in the band for their entire run. Honorable mention should go out to Bob Mann who did a great job doubling keys and guitar on the Twin Peaks album.
