my wish has no truss rod and is rock steady. it also has a baseball bat neck which helps i'm sure. the finish is great but was done by the previous owner, not wish. the bass came to me with no ground wire which i fixed. the main blunder is a narrow neck with very tight string spacing, it's not fun to play. mike has fixed this on later models, however. you should try one if you get the chance.
