It was nice to come home after a 10 hour drive and 5 hours of work to a big box.


(sellers pictures)

35" scale/graphite reinforced Eastern Maple neck /Pau Ferro FB
18V 3-band pre / VFL MM bridge pickup / stack HB Jazz neck pickup
Hipshot Tuners & Hipshot Quadra string-through Bridge

It's my first 35" scale bass, but I can't feel/notice any difference.
Well balanced and pretty light. 
Pretty ballsy. It was late last night when I got home, I'll crank it up a bit today.

Love the colour...

The (stalled, lost in the debris in the shed) project Demetriou bass I have is a 35" scale too - might get to play her one day... :rolleyes:

Unless you're detuning, the 35" scale can cause intonation problems. Those are good basses, though.

I once bought an '85 Chevy shortbox pickup as much because it was that color as for any other reason. It took a fuel pump, alternator and battery just to get it home.

Changing the fuel pump on a hot small-block V8 on the side of a dusty Texas road in July is even not as much fun as it might sound like.

Eventually it was a pretty fun pickup.

Yeah, I thought the color was cool until I got it home - then it was REALLY cool.
It's not everyone's cup (and it's my first blue bass), but the thing really pops.

I like that color too.  Those Peaveys are great players.  I still have my first "pro" bass - a first year Dynabass.  Actually my Dad has had it for the past several years.  He plays a bit, and always had a thing for that bass.

The Dyna is still high on my list - I'm trying to get one of each US Peavey bass, and the Dyna is regarded as one of their upper-tier.

Peavey's are funny - lots of folks knock the hell out of them (which is fine - I pay very little for great basses), but Peavey seems like they were just as far advanced technically as any of the big players.  The variable width saddles on this Millennium are quite cool as you don't have to even loosen a string to change the string width.  The electronics on the T-40/T-20 series are unlike any other bass on the planet, and the often overlooked micro-tilt neck heel adjuster is another of many innovations that poor slobs like myself get to use and understand for very little investment. Couple these and many other innovations with top-shelf Tech Support, and I found what I need.
