double neck bass/guitar

hi folks. i am sure one of you can answer this question. i have a picture of elvis holding a gibson sg style double neck. only the top neck appears to be a 6 string bass while the bottom neck is a standard 6 string guitar. can someone identify it. thanks

Hi Tom, welcome aboard. I know this one is real, it was used in "Spinout" and is on display at Graceland. I don't think it was ever a production model like the EBSF-1250 -- Uwe and Jules would probably know.

Dig the standard inlays on the bass neck.  Fancy pants.

Please, don't get Uwe into this topic. It has to hurt, seeing that bass hanging there, impossible to get.

I'm glad it's in Graceland - even I don't have access there!
