Well two is better than one right ? Honestly the series II really hit the nail on the head for me, Ya done good Rob  :)  Just how long these will be around is anybodies guess. Brad over on tb had it up for sale for a price I couldn't refuse. One will get a refin at some point. Both soon to have Thunderbuckers though the stock pup is just fine.

Can you fill me in on the details of the 2nd series Bachbirds?  I have a cherry TH-2 - have no idea which series it came from.  I'd prefer to have a single-pickup in white, but I wasn't in on the initial buy.

The series II has a thinner body and the belly cut like the original 60's NRs also the neck is slimmer.

OK, so mine does not have a belly cut and the body is 1-7/16" thick.  The neck is pretty slim.  Would it be from the first series then?

I don't think they made the cherry finish until the third run. Anyone know for sure? My black one is the second run.

Are your bridge saddles notched?  I don't think they were before the third series.  My honeyburst has approx. 1 3/4" body. no belly cut and saddles with notches cast into the saddle, not cut.  My series II white has thin body, belly cut and no notches.  They both have the same neck profile.

I'm guessing BaCH didn't cast notched saddles, stop and start again...though they did with the belly cut and thin body.

The cherry ones are series III.  I bought one as soon as they were available, and sold it almost immediatly because it was so different from the series II. Here is a picture illustrating the difference.
