Welcome Earwigger!

I really enjoyed "Following Fate" from your Raul Duke's Summer Romance project.  Very cool song.  And I feel that, while it doesn't possess all the subtlety and nuance present in your artful work with Godsmack, it still offers profound musical inspiration.

Earwigger!

I'm diggin' Taming The Tigers on the DoHM page. My band TigerShark just sent a Friend Request.
We're pleased that our song Let's Rock just hit 1,000 plays & our TigerShark theme is over 1500 plays.

Anyone know how to activate the Buy feature in the new myspace players?
I need to start sellin' my songs!!!

Thanks a lot!  That's my favorite piece from that project.  It really hurts every time I think of it not going anywhere because every drummer in Ohio is a spineless flake. :D

Still haven't figured out that new Buy feature on the myspace player. Anyone?

Got a few tracks laid down with just the Rhythm Section of my band GODBROTHERS--me an' Joe.
Steven hurt his frettin' hand workin' on a guy's car & while it's healing I talked him into doing some keyboard tracks. He did an AMAZING job on my toon MEGAYANG MINDBENDER RIFFAGE.
The Main Riff is HEAVY & I asked him to play Hammond organ on that--Well, the Triton equivalent anyway.
He ROCKED it!
Then the middle sections he plays piano on--again, the Triton--& really captured the moods.
The 2nd riff is a playful thing that he adds seriousness to but keeps it LIGHT & the 3rd riff is predominantly meant for guitars (including my Bass!) but he adds some slick Rhythmic piano to it too.
Then back to the HEAVY Main Riff with those POUNDING "B-3" chords I asked him to add.

It's SO cool to be creating this music using my Bass as the backbone of each piece & then adding Drums & percussion. Then adding Vocals (unless it's an instrumental) then later keys & guitars.
Can't wait til Steve can shred some guitar on this track....& the rest!

We're gonna place this on our TigerShark myspace page & give credit to Joe as "Guest Artist".
We've already maxed out with 6 tracks on our GODBROTHERS page.
Eventually we'll add vocals & put it on our GODBROTHERS cd.
We hoped to finish cds for both bands this year, but we're goin' s-l-o-w. Alas
Aimin' for Spring 2009 now....

You know there are other sites that allow you to post/sell as many songs as you like for free/hosting.

Soundclick.com is one of them.

Here's my latest ensemble: http://www.myspace.com/thesecretcells

"Turn Around" was recorded at our first gig not quite two weeks ago.  The other tunes are clips recorded in the jam room.

I played a Ripper through an Acoustic 320/408 rig for the jam room clips and my 75 Precision through the same amp for the live performance.

Hope ya'll dig it.

Nice song and some tasty guitar work. The bass playing seemed good but a little hard to hear in the mix for me, on my computer.

Thanks for the positive feedback!  I have received many comments about the lack of bass so I jacked it up as best as I could (maybe a little too much).  It's tough to try to remix an audience recording...

I finally got some video of the gig we did in december as support for Whitesnake.
Not much camera action, but the sound is pretty good.
