remember seeing them on the midnight special the night it was aired.  one of the first cover tunes i learned to play and sing lead on.  nice range

No reason to duck. I've never heard of most of the prog bands posted here, and I'd be surprised if most here had heard of much of what I listen to.

OTOH it does sort of irk me when people think that Smokin' In The Boys room was a Motley Crue original.

We played it in my first band in high school...when my kids had their high school orientation years ago, it really surprised me to find that smoking in the boys room gets you expelled nowadays...back then it was commonplace.  I did it occasionally.
