Lucilles don't have f-holes.

Street price 3700 vs. 3150 for a regular Lucille. Custom colors, fancy headstock, limited run with COA... they'll probably sell all of them.

I like the blue one.

Emerald green is cool.
Music was better when ugly people were allowed to make it.

Cool colors.  The late 70's early 80's ES-Artist also had no F holes.  Steve Howe used one in Asia.

Did they get a glimpse of Mark's Thunderbirds?   ;)

Love the colors - that ruby red is cool too.

Green please, Santa... oh yeah, and make the neck a 34" with jus' the 4 strings with 'em being slightly thicker too please...

Presume they're semi's still...? just no breathing holes...

Yes, still semihollow. B.B. used to play a variety of Gibson semihollows (with f-holes), and having no f-holes was part of what he wanted in a signature guitar.

Yeah, quite a lot actually. It's called blues.

Years ago he played Teles and I think he even named those Lucille.

It's a quote that was aimed at Billy Gibbons but it works here too...

I can't hear of BB King without thinking of him in that U2 movie saying something like, "I don't play none of them chords."

The red one is nice but that blue one is stunning.

I'm more a John Lee Hooker kinda fan than BB King. I find his playing less ..um... bluesy than  a lot of other blues players of his ilk. He is very much a noodler which starts to grate on me after a while. Did a support with him once and our guitarist toured Oz in a support act to him a while back. Lovely man, happy to talk and showed a lot of grace.

The man's in his mid-80s and still touring regularly. How many others can say that? Ray Price is the only other one of that age I can think of.

That may be his real age and yes it impresses me too but I reckon at age 66 Keef Richards whose body is probably pushing 99. Not to mention Iggy pop and his continuing physical output on stage at 63 going on 90 impresses me as well. Wyman is 74 and still rockin' too.
